![]() ![]() The Foundation Board will review grant requests and administer the funds, based on the merit of each grant application and available funds. Organizations are invited to submit an application to the Operation Round Up Foundation. ![]() If you choose not to participate, or if you want to discontinue your participation at any time, simply call our office. You may also elect to participate in Operation Round Up® by logging into the Customer Portal, selecting "Services," then "Round Up." Click on the box to participate in Operation Round Up®. If you would like to participate in Operation Round Up®, you may call our office at 77 or sign up here. The following counties will be served by the program: Bibb, Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Monroe, Morgan, Newton, Pike, Putnam, and Spalding. Your contributions will go toward improving the lives of others, and the funds will not be used for political purposes or electric bills. Each participating EMC may have a different application deadline so be sure to check with them regarding due date. The primary purpose of Operation Round Up is to address charitable needs and provide financial assistance anywhere in the 14 counties served by Central Georgia EMC. Georgia EMC Walter Harrison 2022 Scholarship Application Please note: Applications must be turned in directly to your local EMC to be considered. Requests for assistance, by charitable organizations, will be evaluated and grants awarded by a separate board of directors made up of 8 volunteer members, one from each of the Central Georgia EMC Board of Director’s service territories. The Central Georgia EMC Foundation was created to disperse the money collected by Operation Round Up®. For less than the cost of one soft drink, candy bar, or cup of coffee this small, monthly contribution can make a huge impact! The contributions are tax-deductible, and a summary of your gifts will be included in your January electric bill. The recipient must be enrolled in an accredited program, either full-time or part-time. EMC members and employees are also eligible.
